Four organisations have donated a total of GH¢520,000 to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to support the Green Ghana project, a tree planting exercise.
They are the National Petroleum Authority and West Africa Quarries Limited, which presented Gh¢200,000 each, and the Petroleum Commission and the Ports and Harbours Authority, which donated Gh¢100,000 and Gh¢20,000, respectively.
They presented dummy cheques to the Deputy Minister designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Benito Owusu-Bio, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Green Ghana project planning committee.
