Trump s Second Impeachment Will Be An Impeachment Like No Other

Updated Jan 13, 2021 Trump’s Second Impeachment Will Be An Impeachment Like No Other Trump will be impeached an unprecedented second time for being “an imminent threat” to the nation. Three U.S. presidents have been impeached by the House. President Donald Trump is about to be the first to be impeached twice ― and for the most serious impeachment charge in history: inciting an insurrection that left five dead as part of a plot to keep him in power by forcing Congress to overturn the results of an election he lost. The House of Representatives plans to vote to impeach Trump on Wednesday. It’s unclear what will happen next and whether the (soon-to-be-formerly) Republican-controlled Senate will launch a trial within the final days of Trump’s term.

The song, which celebrates resilience, was first written as a poem in 1899 by James Weldon Johnson, former leader of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). It was later set to music by his brother John Rosamond Johnson.

Trump impeachment: Democrats promise quick move to impeachment if 25th Amendment push fails

I Support the Democrats Effort to Impeach President Trump and so Should You

AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin Democrat lawmakers are pressing towards impeaching President Donald Trump again, and I fully support their efforts. Indeed, I consider this move to be best for the country and the Republican Party. But I don’t support impeachment for the same reasons as columnist David French and National Review’sAndrew McCarthy. Unlike them, I’m not interested in pitiful attempts to seek favor from the left by pandering to their worst impulses. I am merely observing a maxim coined by Napoleon Bonaparte: “Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake.” Democrats are already considering how they might file articles of impeachment against Trump, meaning that they fully intend to go forward with one of the most idiotic self-owns that we might see in 2021. If they have completely resolved to beclown themselves in one of the most spectacular displays of political tomfoolery imaginable, why should we oppose it?
