CO Man at Capitol Riots in Trouble For Killing Mountain Lion A man that was allegedly involved in the riot that took place at the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021, is now in even more trouble as he was caught shooting and killing a mountain lion in Colorado. The man, Patrick Montgomery, was at a campground south of the Denver area back on March 31st, 2021, where he allegedly shot and killed the mountain lion. Montgomery is a convicted felon and therefore isn t allowed to carry firearms. Following his involvement with the Capitol riots back in January, Montgomery was granted a pretrial release after pleading not guilty to charges of violent entry and disorderly conduct. However, that has since been revoked as the Federal Bureau of Investigation has learned of the shooting and killing of the mountain lion.
