The Victor Oladipo era just began in South Beach as the Miami Heat finally got to see the long-awaited debut of the 28-year-old as he played his first game, as they hosted the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. Dipo though quickly deflected the praise after their 116-109 win.
“My teammates were really helpful tonight,” Oladipo said (via ESPN).
The two-time All-Star ended up starting for the Heat and filled up the stat sheet with six points, three rebounds, five assists, and a couple of steals. He did end up shooting 0-4 from deep but I’m sure we can cut him a little slack.
