Most Wanted Wednesday fugitive behind bars thanks to viewer tip

This week we featured Mervin Nicholas on WINK News’ Most Wanted Wednesday, and right after it aired, a tip was received from a viewer like you that led to his arrest.
Nicholas was wanted for failure to register as a sexual offender. He was convicted of lewd and lascivious behavior for harassing a 13-year-old girl at the apartment complex where they both lived.
According to deputies, while the victim was walking home one day, Nicholas pulled her into his apartment and tried to rape her, while committing lewd acts.

Our WINK News viewers in Southwest Florida have been busy calling in tips to help capture fugitives in Southwest Florida. Three more suspects featured on Most Wanted Wednesday have been arrested.
The following fugitives shown above were picked up by law enforcement. Christopher Morales, Dionicio Derteano and Justin Panossian.

Christopher Morales (DOB 6/9/88) – Wanted in Lee County for violation of probation for grand theft and uttering a false instrument.
Law enforcement said he had been living rent-free with his employer for six months when he up and seemingly disappeared.
