I have fond memories of my grandparents and great grandparents camps on Sebago Lake in Raymond. My grandparents were right next to my great grandparents and I remember staying overnight there and walking through the woods to my great grandparents small, three room camp where I d be fed breakfast and hang out while my great grandfather sat in his chair smoking his pipe. For years after he died, the camp still had the smell of that pipe reminding me of him.
Sadly, both properties have been sold now and my great grandfather s camp that he built himself, was torn down and replaced with a big, expensive, luxury home. Progress? I suppose. But I don t have to like it.

I know I m leading here with the fact that this place has almost 10 bathrooms. The property is beautiful but I just can t get past the fact that for a place with (an impressive) 5 bedrooms, there are 9 full-sized bathrooms and two 1/2 bathrooms! What does one do with that many?
I m not mad. I m impressed.

Redfern Properties based in Portland wants to build an 18-story building in downtown Portland that would become the tallest building in the city.
Since 2013, Redfern Properties has built five residential buildings in Portland ranging from luxury townhouses to more modest residences. According to the Portland Press Herald, their proposed 18-story building would go up on what is now a parking lot and plaza on the corner of Temple and Federal streets, behind the downtown Post Office.

It s height would put it at 15 feet taller than Franklin Towers, currently the tallest building in Portland, sixth highest in the state and tallest residential building in the state. It would be made up of 265 apartments, mostly studio and one bedrooms. Rents would run $1200 to $2000 a month.
