South Dakota Unemployment Claims For Week Ending May 29
The number of South Dakota unemployment claims remained within pre-pandemic levels in the latest report from the Department of Labor and Regulation. The pre-pandemic range was 200 to 300 initial weekly claims.
For the week ending May 29, 232 South Dakotans lost their jobs and filed an initial weekly claim. This is the same number of claims that were filed last week.
Continued claims continue to fall in South Dakota as 2,141 people were eligible to receive benefits after filing an initial cliam. This is a decrease of 342 from last week s revived total of 2,483 claims.

Minnesota Offering WEAK Incentives for COVID-19 Vaccine
The number one benefit to getting the COVID-19 vaccine is clearly the fact that you get protection from the deadly coronavirus, but even though that seems like a great incentive, some are still not vaccinated.
Many businesses and even states throughout the US have begun offering some incentives to get the vaccination and help them move out of the pandemic.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is hoping his latest rollout of vaccine incentives will help his state get to a better-vaccinated number sooner rather than late.

Those incentives will include tickets to the Minnesota State Fair, fishing licenses and state park passes.

Trapt released a new album in 2020, but it was kind of a flop. It didn t even chart on the Billboard 200 album charts. Then in 2021, the drummer, Michael Smith, quit due to disagreements with the lead singer. Lead singer, Chris Taylor Brown, had been using the group s social media pages to be very outspoken about his political beliefs. The band s socials were even suspended for awhile due to Brown s actions. I guess you could say Chris Taylor Brown is pretty headstrong and is willing to take on anyone .
