More than 50 women were forced into prostitution in North Jersey, Rockland County and New York City by male members of a large-scale international human trafficking ring run by three women from Teaneck and two men from Lodi, authorities said .
A massive investigation into sex trafficking in both states culminated in a series of early-morning raids Wednesday at 19 homes and other locations in Bergen and Hudson counties – including Lodi, Teaneck, Englewood, Elmwood Park and Bergenfield.
Detectives and uniformed police and sheriff s officers arrested 21 ring members.
They also obtained a fugitive warrant for one of the accused ringleaders, 61-year-old Birmania “Nancy” Rincon of Teaneck, who Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said was believed to be in Colombia.
N.J. man charged with surfing ‘Dark Web’ to collect nearly 3K images of child porn, prosecutor says

A Bergen County man was arrested Monday after investigators said a search of his home revealed nearly 3,000 images of child pornography.
John Bianchini, 65, of Ridgefield Park, is charged with second-degree possession of child pornography and fourth-degree possession of marijuana, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutor Mark Musella said members of the county’s Cyber Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at Bianchini’s home as part of an investigation into Internet child pornography.
“The investigation revealed that Bianchini used the Internet, including the ‘Dark Web’, to view, download, or possess approximately 2,908 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children,” Musella said in a statement.
Counter-protesters escalate tension at N.J. jail housing ICE detainees

Protesters rallying for the release of ICE detainees at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack faced off Saturday with a group of pro-Trump counter-protesters, who arrived and began shouting insults.
The group of protesters who had been rallying outside the jail were met with a group of counter-protesters waving Blue line flags in support of law enforcement and flags emblazoned with President Donald Trump’s name, according to video posted on social media.
The counter-protesters shouted insults, floated conspiracy theories and raised the middle finger at the pro-immigrant protesters, who clashed with police last weekend.
