ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Taos Air will restart service to airports in California, Texas and other destinations in July.
Starting July 1, Taos Air will restart its roundtrip air service offering direct flights to and from Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, Dallas Love Field Airport, Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Los Angeles and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad.
After its winter 2019-20 season, the airline went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release from the airline.
The continuation of Taos Air is the result of a collaborative effort by the Enchanted Circle Council of Governments, an inter-governmental group focused on promoting and enhancing economic development in the region, according to the release.

AUSTIN, Texas An upper-level, low-pressure system brought multiple days of showers and storms to Central Texas this past week. Now that the system has moved to the northeast, it s time to review some of the rainfall totals from the past 48 hours.

According to the National Weather Service, some of the largest reported rainfall totals in the KVUE viewing area came from Fayette County, with 6.09 inches recorded a little over a mile west of La Grange. The Colorado River above La Grange recorded a total just shy of that mark at 6.08 inches.

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Austin Energy are marking the completion of a new solar panel array constructed at the airport that will produce 1.8 megawatts of locally-generated renewable energy.
The new solar array marks a milestone in both Austin Energy’s Community Solar Program and Austin-Bergstrom’s portfolio of sustainability efforts, says the city. The array will provide 1.5 megawatts of power to the Community Solar Program and .3 megawatts of renewable energy benefits toward future airport construction projects and the airport’s administration building.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) has launched LocusMaps, a new wayfinding platform that provides passengers with real-time information, including the latest pandemic protocols, shop guides and changed gate assignments.
Created in partnership with LocusLabs, the new app can be accessed through the hub’s website.
Jacqueline Yaft, CEO of AUS, said: “[We are] excited to announce this new partnership with LocusLabs. At our airport, we’re always seeking better ways to serve our customers and enhance the passenger experience. LocusMaps will be instrumental in our achieving those goals for passenger wayfinding.”
