I have included some additional information such as industry, round type, a brief description of the company, investors in the round, company location, and total equity funding raised for the company to further the analysis.
Round: Series D
Description: New York-based Capsule is a healthcare technology business rebuilding the pharmacy from the inside out Founded by Eric Kinariwala in 2016, Organization Name has now raised a total of $570.0M in total equity funding and is backed by investors that include T. Rowe Price, Sound Ventures, TCV, Global Founders Capital, and M13.
Startup Funding: March 2021
Self-driving vehicles revved up investors in March, with two companies receiving over $200M apiece as they prepare for their systems to enter mass production. One focuses on software for passenger vehicles, while the other is looking to autonomous trucks. Both of the companies received investment from automakers, with China’s largest carmaker SAIC joining each of the funding rounds. It was also a good month for startups making chips for AI acceleration, with four companies from seed to Series D stages raising funds. Plus, two companies are looking to shake up the memory and storage space with some unique solutions. This month, we take a look at 24 startups that collectively raised over $1.3B.

Innovusion has raised $60 million from Temasek, BAI and Joy Capital. In a separate development, Mooe Robot has pocketed nearly 100 million yuan ($15 million) in a new funding round.
Innovusion nabs $60m in new funding
Innovusion, a developer of LiDAR technology for autonomous vehicles, has garnered $60 million in a new funding round, bringing its total market valuation to $300 million, according to a report by AVCJ.
Singapore’s state investment firm Temasek, Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI) and China’s TMT-focused venture capital firm Joy Capital joined the round.
The funding comes nearly two months after consumer electronics player Joyson Electronics poured ‘millions of US dollars’ in Innovusion in January 2021.
