It was a dry night with no cloud in the sky when Charles R. Tasby, 29, of Shreveport lost his life.
Tasby was driving down Bert Kouns Industrial Loop late Wednesday evening when he entered the Millicent Way intersection and had a collision.
When the Shreveport Fire Department arrived on scene, they found Tasby unresponsive. Tasby was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Shreveport Police Department is investigating this collision for more details on what caused the crash.

CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) â The Caddo Parish man whose car off the roadway and plunged into a ravine has died.

The Caddo coronerâs office says 30-year-old Dean Road resident Christopher D. Moore was dead on arrival at Ochsner LSU Health at 9:06 p.m. Monday, May 10.
The accident on Shrevepark Drive just north of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop happened at 8:25 p.m. that night, Caddo 911 dispatch records show.

CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) A man is fighting for his life after driving his car off the roadway and into a ravine in Caddo Parish.
Man fighting for his life after driving car into ravine
A Shreveport man involved in a Monday late-night crash in west Shreveport has been named.
Christopher D. Moore, 30, of Dean Road, was killed in a single-vehicle car crash in west Shreveport.
Shreveport police arrived on the scene to the intersection of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop and Shreve Park Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Moore who suffered life-threatening injuries.
Moore was transported by the Shreveport Fire Department and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
This crash is under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are working to learn more details about an early morning armed robbery on May 6.
Officers got the call just after 12:30 a.m. to the Circle K at the corner of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop and Youree Drive.
