Date Time Nollamara Armed Robbery Mirrabooka Detectives have charged a 17-year-old boy following an armed robbery incident in Nollamara yesterday, 8 February 2021. It will be alleged that at around 3:20pm, a 15-year-old boy was at the Robertsbridge Reserve when he was approached by two males, one armed with a handgun, the other with a knife. They stole the victim’s phone and wallet before fleeing the area. At about 10:30pm, Mirrabooka Detectives, with the assistance of the Tactical Response Group, executed a search warrant at a home in Nollamara. It is further alleged that during the warrant investigators located property belonging to the victim, a replica handgun and a knife.

A 17-year-old youth has pleaded guilty to murdering an 18-year-old mother-of-two whose body was found stuffed in a wheelie bin in Western Australia last year. The body of Bethany was found outside a hospital in the mining town of Newman on May 6, 2020, just four weeks after she gave birth to her second child.  Bethany was a Martu woman whose traditional lands cover 13.6 million hectares in central Western Australia. The woman s body with severe head injuries was found outside the hospital in Newman, 1,178 kilometres northeast of Perth at 4am on Wednesday, May 6, last year Police believe she may have been stoned to death before her body was placed inside the bin and dumped outside the medical facility.

Date Time City Beach Assaults / Robbery – Update Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged five people in relation to a robbery and assault incident that occurred in City Beach on Tuesday 26 January 2021. About 9:30pm three 16-year-old males were in the beach area along West Coast Highway, City Beach, when they were approached by a group of males. During the incident the three victims were assaulted and had items stolen from them. Yesterday, Friday 29 January 2021, detectives arrested five people, who have since been charged in relation to the incident. An 18-year-old man from Langford, a 17-year-old boy from Thornlie and a 15-year-old boy from Koondoola have each been charged with ‘Aggravated Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm’ and two counts of ‘Aggravated Robbery’.
