Special thanks to Howard Hanna Real Estate Services for this online Radiothon Moment
Kevin & Shanna returned to the airwaves together at 99.5 The River for our annual Cares for Kids Radiothon. During their broadcast, they received a large, surprise donation from Robert in Troy of Expedition Yeti, a local snowmobile group where father & son collected donations for the Bernard & Millie Duker Children s Hospital at Albany Med.
After their family had a personal experience with the hospital, Robert s 9 year old son had the idea to have Dad dress up in a Yeti costume to surprise fellow snowmobile riders out on the trails. They would then share their Children s Hospital story & ask fellow riders if they d like to donate $1 to the cause. Combined with other fundraising efforts, they ve received donations all across the country & even from Canada!
