(KFVS) - Due to remaining snow on side roads, sidewalks and parking lots, some businesses and organizations in the Heartland will be closed or open late Friday, February 19.

Last week, the suspect from a fatal shooting appeared in Perry County District Court for his arraignment. During the hearing, his attorney waived the arraignment automatically entering him into a plea of not guilty.
On Dec. 3, David Hampton, 36, of Vicco, appeared for his arraignment in Perry County Circuit Court after being charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment for allegedly shooting two of his juvenile children in the presence of his wife and their other juvenile child on Oct. 14. The shooting resulted in the death of one of the juveniles, Sunday Rose Hampton, 2, and the other juvenile, age 12, being shot in the neck area and transported via helicopter to Tennessee to be treated.
