Stolen truck found inside city limits
Acting on information he received, Perry Police Department (PPD) Ptl. Chas Mitchell recovered a stolen 2006 Chevrolet 2500 truck inside the city limits on Monday, just over 24 hours after the vehicle was reported stolen from a residence in the county sometime during the early-morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 27.
The truck, which was stolen from a Roberts Aman Road home was discovered between two abandoned houses off of Front Street located west of South Warner Avenue.

ADEL, Iowa A man s death is being treated as a homicide after his body was found in rural Dallas County early Tuesday morning.
Authorities identified the man as 20-year-old Jakob Mash of Perry Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff s Office, deputies responded to a report of a victim being shot at the intersection of K Avenue and 258th Street in rural Adel around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Mash was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dallas County deputies and agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) are following up with the investigation.
