New Delhi, May 4 (IANS) As the world staggers in its attempts to control the Covid-19 pandemic through vaccination of the people, two vaccine-producing nations in Asia, China and India, take diverse routes to share their supplies with the international community through what is being called vaccine diplomacy . While China has only earned brickbats for using the humane gesture to its expansionist policies, India is receiving bouquets for its transparent balancing act of supplying the vaccines to the needy countries while simultaneously catering to its own, massive internal demand.

Labour MP Kiri Allan has been subjected to shocking comments from social media users during her battle against stage 3 cervical cancer.
Allan published screenshots of the comments on Twitter on Sunday, with the caption: Just ya average day on NZ [social media].

In one of the screenshots shared by Allan, a user told the MP to get over yourself . There are 71 people a day diagnosed with cancer and it sickens me to see you paraded in front of the media/by the media as this poor suffering wretch, the man wrote.
