It’s laptop-sized, can be carried inside a coat and can spit AK-47 bullets out at the rate of roughly 700 rounds per minute. Meet the ‘Baby TAR’, India’s smallest assault rifle. Developed by the Indian Ordnance Factory Tiruchirappali, the weapon is a compact version of the legendary AK-47, which the factory has been mass-producing since 2017. This in-house OFB innovation comes soon after the Indian Army unveiled a 9x19mm carbine developed in-house.

(ATR) The International Olympic Committee recognizes Damaris Young as the new president of the Olympic Committee of Panama (COP) and “energetically” rejects the violation of the autonomy of the national Olympic entity.
Young, a former national basketball team member and jurist specializing in Sports Law and Management, is the first woman to lead the national Olympic movement and the first in Central American Olympic history.

Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has denied her representatives spoke with International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) President René Fasel prior to his controversial meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
Fasel told Swiss website
Watson that the governing body has been seeking talks with representatives of the Government and also with the opposition .
The IIHF President said he had spoken to someone close to Svetlana Tikhanovskaya prior to the meeting and raised the issue of political prisoners with Lukashenko.
A statement issued by Tikhanovskaya denied having contact with Fasel prior to the meeting, however, with the Belarus opposition leader insisting the IIHF Men’s World Championship be removed from the country.
