+ December 23, 2020 THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has allocated P116.16 million for the acquisition of laptops to be used for the consolidation and canvassing system (CCS) during the May 2022 national elections.
In a notice inviting bidders, Comelec said the approved budget for the contract (ABC) will be used to purchase 2,200 laptops, or P52,800 per unit.
The poll body said the CCS laptops must be delivered to its Laguna warehouse in five tranches in five months.
A total of 220 units must be delivered by May 30, 2021, followed by 440 units on June 30, 2021 and 440 units on July 30, 2021.
Another 440 units should also be delivered by August 30, 2021 and the final 660 units sent by September 30, 2021.
