Bloomberg STATE CONTINUES TO RAMP UP MASS VACCINATION SITES: Illinois plans to launch today three more mass vaccination sites, one in Springfield and two in Carbondale. The three sites will receive 4,000 doses per week with plans to administer a combined 2,700 daily doses pending increases in federal shipments, according to a statement from the governor s office.  The sites are in addition to those at Tinley Park Convention Center in Cook County and Belle-Clair Fairgrounds and Expo Center in St. Clair County. The state will also deploy additional Illinois National Guard mobile vaccination teams to stand up mobile sites in Sangamon and Jackson Counties to support the county health departments, the statement said. Eventually, Illinois will deploy about 100 teams of 18 National Guard members to support local health departments, Pritzker said in a press conference at the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds vaccination site on Thursday.
