LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Journalistic objectivity is gone

ANALYSIS/OPINION: Journalism used to be considered as a profession that sought out news and delivered it to the public. We used to read the newspapers and listen to the radio to find out the truth about what was happening in our country and the rest of the world. Then came television and we were able to be on the spot with media as news developed. As a result, more and more people have been getting their daily news from their TVs. But it seems that of late journalism has changed. It seems that corporate America, which owns most newspapers and television stations, has decided that we should hear the news the way they want it to be interpreted no longer objective, but very biased depending on whether the newspaper/TV station is owned by liberals or conservatives. Unfortunately it seems the liberal media currently far outweigh the conservatives.

And you’re just going to listen to their rules?” “I’m getting my refund from Costco,” Mr. Schroder then told his viewers. “I suggest everybody in California get their refund from Costco. Give up your membership to Costco until they remove this.” Several hours later, the former “Silver Spoons” actor posted another video apologizing to the employee but not for his overall message. “Jason, nothing personal,” Mr. Schroder said in the video. “I’m not upset with you or anybody in the position like you have, who works for a living. I understand that you were following their laws and rules. I was trying to make a point to the corporate overlords and I’m sorry that I had to use you to do it. And I’m sorry. If I hurt your feelings, I apologize. But I do think that independence
