The top three Democrats in the country all called for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s resignation after a state investigation confirmed allegations of sexual harassment against him on Tuesday.
Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer all called upon Cuomo to resign as governor.
When asked by a reporter if Cuomo should step down, Biden said, “Yes…I think he should resign.”

Shontel Brown campaigned for an open House seat in the Cleveland area declaring that she would be âa partner,â not an adversary, of President Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi. And now that she is almost guaranteed to join them in Washington after her victory on Tuesday in a contentious Democratic primary, Ms. Brownâs history suggests that party leaders will be adding a loyal political insider to their team.
The masking policy came from the Attending Physician of the Capitol, not Speaker Pelosi.
U.S. Capitol Police have the ability to arrest visitors and staffers who refuse to comply with the rule, but say there is no reason it should ever come to someone being arrested. For Members of Congress and staffers who are with them that won t comply, Capitol Police will report the incident to the House Sergeant at Arms.

During her weekly press conference, Speaker Pelosi mentioned the new masking policy.
“There is no discussion about ‘should we do it, should we not’ for one reason or another, she said. It s the decision of the Capitol physician, who is following the guidance of the CDC about the masks.”
