The unruly scene came to such a pass that Speaker Hitendranath Goswami had to adjourn the House for 10 minutes. The Congress brought the adjournment motion on two issues: Encroachment of land and assault on border-dwelling residents of Assam by people from the neighbouring States and Eviction of indigenous people in various places in the State .
