N.J. man, 45, shot to death, authorities say

A 45-year-old Paterson man died Sunday night after he was found shot multiple times on a city street, authorities said.
Raaseon Adams was lying on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Summer Street when police arrived shortly before 7 p.m., according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.
Adams was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m., according to police.

3 men shot in a residential neighborhood of Paterson

Three men were shot Thursday night in a residential neighborhood in Paterson and investigators are asking the public help find a suspect.
Police were called shortly before 8 p.m. to the area of 17th Avenue and East 21st Street on a report of a shooting, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.
Officers found a 28-year-old Paterson man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and was expected to survive, Valdes and Baycora said in a joint statement.
The victim of a March 3 shooting in Paterson has died from his injuries, authorities said.
Jaquan Harrison, 35, of Paterson, who was shot while in the area of North Sixth and Clinton streets, died from his injuries at St. Joseph s University Medical Center in Paterson on Sunday morning, said an announcement from Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.
Harrison was taken to the hospital and had remained in critical condition since the shooting, the announcement said.
Responding police officers found Harrison inside a building in the area of North Sixth and Clinton streets with an apparent gunshot wound, the announcement read.
