Camden House Fire Kills 1 Person, Sends 4 to Hospital
Fire officials now say one person died in an early morning fire in Camden that also sent four others to the hospital.
The fire was reported just after 1:00 Thursday morning at a home on Mt. Battie Street. Flames engulfed the house and at least one vehicle parked out in front of the residence. The BDN reports the deceased person s body is being taken to the State Medical Examiner s Office in Augusta, for an autopsy. The extent of the other victims injuries is not known, at this time.

ROCKPORT Following mental health battles and after a move back to the Midcoast from fast-paced New York City, singer-songwriter Alice Limoges has transitioned into the next chapter of her life, now feeling she has reached what is, thus far, the most productive point of her musical career.

WVII (Channel 7) and Centralmaine.com reported on a new guide that highlights behavioral support networks in Maine for students, families and communities. Courtney Angelosante, lecturer in special education with the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development, is lead author of the guide. âWe wanted to get information to families who might feel stuck, might feel alone, that might feel stigmatized,â she said.
