UNION A Union man remains in jail after police say he threatened a resident in his home and then was injured when the victim defended himself against the alleged attack.
William Doniel, 42, was arrested Dec. 20 by Knox County Sheriff Office deputies for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Doniel appeared in Knox County Unified Dec. 21 where his bail was set at $500 secured bail, with no third party allowed.
According to the affidavit filed in court by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, when deputies arrived at the residence in Union they found Doniel outside on the ground near a van. He was bleeding from the face and was unresponsive.
