Nigerian artists, Omah Lay and Tems have been released by the Ugandan police.
Omah Lay and Tems regained their freedom, following a ruling by Okumu Jude Muwone, Chief Magistrate of Makindye.
Their release was made public by Bebe Cool, a Uganda singer, on Tuesday.
The Ugandan police had arrested both singers over their involvement in an unauthorised concert held on Saturday night in Ddungu Resort in Munyonyo, Kampala City.
The pair were thereafter remanded in police custody alongside four Ugandans after they were arraigned before a court.

Ugandan pop star-turned-politician, Bobi Wine, announced Tuesday on Twitter that his lawyers joined in representing Omah Lay, Ms Tems, her manager, and the Ugandans charged.
‘‘Delighted to see the illegal & unfair charges dropped! Evidence that voices matter, that people power can force the people in power to act. We must never underestimate our potential!’’ his tweets partly read.

Nigerian singers Omah Lay and Tems have been released from Uganda prison after the police withdew charges against them.
The duo were arrested on Sunday after participating in a concert on Saturday night in Ddungu Resort in Munyonyo, Kampala City.
The singers and four Ugandans were then charged to court on Monday and remanded till Wednesday.
But the chief magistrate of Makindye Okumu Muwone has ordered that the Nigerians be released from Kitalya Prison.
“Whereas the accused persons Stanley Omah Didia and Muyiwa Awoniyi were charged with the offence of neglect act likely to spread of infectious disease Section 171 of Penal Code Act.

Feelers coming from Kampala, Uganda indicate that Omah Lay and Tems have both been released by the police in Uganda following a ruling by Okumu Jude Muwone, Chief Magistrate of Makindye after the pair and other culprits were arraigned in court on Monday.
Their release from their two-day stay in police custody and court appearances was made public by Bebe Cool, a popular Uganda singer, on Tuesday.
Nigerian musician, Mr Eazi who has been following the situation closely, also confirmed the release of Omah Lay and Tems when he wrote on Twitter today (Tuesday) that the singers have been released, and the issue has been resolved.
