How Grand Rapids Comic Con organizers plan to pull event off amid COVID with Boba Fett reunion

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Not one, but three Boba Fetts will be flying into Grand Rapids for one of the biggest comic cons in Michigan and the first since the COVID pandemic hit more than a year ago.
Organizers canceled Grand Rapids Comic Con in 2020 due to COVID and announced a “Spring Fling” for this April, but postponed that for what they are now calling a “Summer Bash,” happening at the DeltaPlex Arena and Conference Center in Walker from Friday, August 13 through Sunday, August 15.
