This after the weather office had confirmed this morning that severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa has been upgraded to a category five system. And according to the current path of the cyclone, there is a growing likelihood it will pass directly over Fiji s two main islands late Thursday. The storm is packing average winds of around 200 kilometers per hour with momentary gusts of up to 280 kilometers per hour. Fiji Bus Operators Association general secretary Rohit Latchan said the public need to be aware that bus operators may suspend their services tomorrow.
