I hope that someone with heritage connections sees the discarding of these old trains as a golden opportunity. Three Bombardier trains are heading for the scrap heap after no one wanted to buy the original O-Train vehicles.
“The city was unable to establish a contract for the disposal of the trainsets,” city chief procurement officer Will McDonald confirmed after the city posted a tender asking for offers to disassemble and get rid of the trains.

Another client at the Tom Brown Respite Centre has tested positive for COVID-19, a memo to Ottawa city councillors confirmed Thursday.
The client stayed overnight at the respite centre in the arena on Wednesday, but was moved to a Cobourg Street isolation centre after testing positive. The client was also receiving case management through Inner City Health, said the memo from the city’s community and social services department.
