Spike in COVID-19 cases reported in Kingston as Quinte region holds steady

It’s been a busy day for COVID-19 news. The first big milestone reached today is Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccine booking system. The website went online this morning at 8 am. Only those who are 80 years of age and older are eligible to book an appointment. There are two ways to do so: Call: 1-888-999-6488. The booking line is available 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 p.m. This is the method to use if you do not have a photo ID health card. Do not use this method if you’ve already had your first dose from a health care provider or through a direct invite by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health. You will be contacted about your second appointment.
