The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting a new COVID-19 case in Haliburton County for the first time since February 9th.
The new case is the 52nd to be reported locally.
No new cases were reported in Kawartha Lakes Thursday, but two were added in Northumberland. There are 11 unresolved coronavirus cases in Kawartha and 16 in Northumberland.
HKPR is also listing how many tests have come back positive for the N501Y mutation, which has been identified in multiple variants of concern. None were identified today in Haliburton, but three were found in Kawartha, and 18 in Northumberland.
