He said he was certain there weren’t any private hospitals delaying in sending data to the relevant government agency.
“This is something that we are not aware of and as far as private hospitals are concerned, we do not delay and report the cases as soon as we get the Covid-19 test results.
“It is our obligation to report them immediately and that is what we have been doing, ’’ added Dr Kuljit.
He was responding to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah’s statement that the spike in Covid-19 numbers recently was due to a delay in reporting cases to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre.
