On Monday the Marshall County Commissioners extended the Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration for another seven days, or until Tuesday, December 29th. This marks the 10
th consecutive week the county has been under the declaration.
The declaration allows the county to authorize any protection necessary for the protection of the citizens in Marshall County.
While the resolution specifically orders office holders and employees to comply with emergency measures, it also requests citizens to follow any mandates and recommendations set forth by county officials including the commissioners and county health officer.
During Monday’s commissioner meeting, President Kevin Overmyer took a few minutes to say some special thanks.
