Spirits In The Wild Returns To Chattanooga Zoo May 15 Friday, April 23, 2021
The Chattanooga Zoo will host Spirits in the Wild, 2021 on May 15 from 6-10 p.m. Guests will immerse themselves in the Zoo’s wildlife while enjoying food and beverages from local Chattanooga restaurants.
This 21 and older event will have live art demonstrations from wood-burning artist, Hollie Berry, and painter Michelle Fountain. Art painted by the animals will also be available for purchase, as well as animal art being created on the night of the event. Live music will be provided by several area-artists, like trio Stringer’s Ridge, saxophonist Frank Bumpass, and artist Dana Rogers.

Chambliss Center For Children To Host Mardi Gras Masked Parade May 8 Tuesday, April 6, 2021
Chambliss Center for Children, in collaboration with Events with Taste, will host a Mardi Gras Masked Parade on Saturday, May 8, from 7-11 p.m. at First Horizon Pavilion, 1826 Reggie White Blvd.
The evening will begin with beads, Dixieland jazz, and hurricanes. Guests will then be escorted to their “Krewe Quarters,” a space designated for them to decorate and enjoy the night in a socially-responsible way. A virtual silent auction will be open throughout the event, and Cajun-inspired fare will be served. The event will conclude with a celebratory Mardi Gras Masked Parade, complete with floats and walking groups.
