Following three consecutive years at second place, South Africa has been named the number one globally preferred front office Customer Experience (CX) offshore location. The award was announced on 8 April by Ryan Strategic Advisory’s Annual Front Office BPO Omnibus Survey. Placed second is India with a three-way placement for third place between Malaysia, Philippines, and Poland.
This coveted global award has been gratefully received by the country’s Global Business Services (GBS) sector. New construction industry umbrella body gets more flak

The establishment of a new construction sector umbrella body, the Construction Alliance South Africa (Casa), has been labelled an âact of opportunism and tenderpreneurshipâ.
Casa, an umbrella body of 29 South African construction sector associations, was officially launched last week.
The National African Federation for the Building Industry (Nafbi) and Black Business Federation (BBF) have added their voices to criticism by the SA Forum of Civil Engineering Contractors (Safcec) about Casaâs establishment.
