The Ghana Police Service has alerted the public to the circulation of fake recruitment advertisements because it is currently not taking any applications.
In a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Superintendent Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, the Police said recruitment notices will be published in daily newspapers including the Daily Graphic.
It also urged the public to report peddlers of such notices to the nearest Police Station.
The statement added that the Police Administration has also not created any portal for protocol recruitment, neither has it authorized any individual or group to facilitate recruitment for the service so any person who falls victim to any advertisement purporting to recruit on behalf of Police Service does so at his or her own risk .
