NACDS campaign named finalist for communications award

Senior Editor The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has a reason to be proud this week. The organization’s flu-vaccination communications initiative has been selected as one of two finalists for the 2021 Public Affairs Council Advocacy Innovation Communications Award. Chosen from more than 40 applications, NACDS’ flu awareness initiative was selected according to the judges because of the campaign’s innovative approach to reporting media coverage by state and Congressional District; commitment to presenting communications assets that reflect diversity and that are presented in English and Spanish; and effectiveness in coalition building, NACDS said.
