The Mississippi State Department of Health could start testing Jackson water samples this weekend. The city has to collect more than 200 different water samples which they send to the health department for experts to test. About 43,000 Jackson water customers remain under a boil water notice.Eric Smith, one of those affected by the city s water crisis, said he spends every day of the week driving around the city looking for a distribution site to get bottled water. It s a hassle, but I mean, it s worth it. It s free water, Smith said.It s unclear how long Smith will have to keep up his search for water.
