TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite May 10 (PIA) The City Government of General Trias recently approved City Ordinance No. 20-46, an ordinance granting financial assistance to repatriated documented Gentriseño Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who lost their jobs due to the CoViD-19 pandemic.
Documented OFWs who are bonafide residents of the City of General Trias with valid passport, work visa, and contract of employment duly processed with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) or the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) can avail of the program.

+ March 10, 2021 IN THE bid to provide opportunities for “balikbayans” in Kabankalan City, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in partnership with the Public Employment Services Office (Peso) has conducted an employment, business and livelihood forum for overseas Filipino workers (OFW) recently.
Dubbed Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan,” the forum held at the Kabankalan City Function Hall was attended by 44 OFWs in the city.
Councilor Miguel Zayco, chairman of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Trade and Industry, urged participating OFWs to actively participate and get involved in the different recovery programs of the government.
