Gentlemen s clubs across the U.S. are facing a sudden shortage of dancers to fill their stages. One club in New Orleans is working to combat the issue by offering signing bonuses to new or returning exotic dancers. Bossier Officers and Citizen Stop Suicide on Westgate Bridge An amazing story out of Bossier when Bossier Police were called to the scene of a suspicious person on the Shreveport-Barksdale bridge Tuesday afternoon (6/2/21). The first officer on the scene of the call spotted a clearly distressed woman stepping over the railing of the bridge to the ledge over the fast-flowing Red River. After this, the woman looked as though she were going to jump, when the officer made a quick move and grabbed the woman to prevent her from falling. Bossier City Police Cpl. Mathew Bragg was quoted as saying, “All I could do was just grab her and put all my weight down to keep her from falling.” Soon after, another officer arrived on the scene, but their efforts still weren t enough to pull the woman from the ledge. UPDATE: Cross Lake Crashed Plane Found, Pilot Identified UPDATE: Pilot killed in single engine plane crash has been identified as Freddie Phillips. The fixed-wing plane took off from Shreveport Regional Airport at 2:36 p.m. Sunday and crashed into Cross Lake about ten minutes after takeoff. The plane is owned by Pocket Jet LLC on Marshall Street in Shreveport. Phillips was the manager of that company. He was also CEO of Phillips Energy. He is survived by five children.   ORIGINAL STORY: Late Sunday afternoon (5/23/21) a small single-engine plane was reported crashed in Cross Lake. Several Shreveport and Caddo agencies worked together on rescue efforts to locate the crashed plane and rescue any survivors.
