Police: Reckless driving leads to deadly crash in Bonner Springs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â One person was killed in a crash in Bonner Springs early Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a report of someone driving recklessly in the area of Scheidt Lane and Woodend Avenue.
Officers could not find the vehicle but were called back an hour later for another report of reckless driving. This time, officers found the vehicle, which continued onto Loring Lane.
One officer clocked the vehicle traveling 114 mph in a 45-mph zone down that road. That s when they activated their lights and sirens.
