STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Income-eligible New Yorkers will soon see relief from a third stimulus check, and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-New York) said Monday that residents could receive the aid in as little as two weeks.
More than $22 billion in federal funds will be given to New Yorkers who are eligible for the $1,400 stimulus check, Schumer said in a press release.

“This marks the second biggest stimulus bill in the nation’s history second to the CARES Act and it comes just in time, because Americans and New York still need real help to get through this,” said Schumer.
