Morley, a local company, was hired by county commissioners to essentially act as the project manager. Morley also will become involved in the county’s contract negotiation with internet service provider Watch Communications. © Photo/Getty Images According to a report put out by the Worcester Regional Research Bureau in July, nearly one-third of Worcester households did not have broadband, and 18 percent had no internet at all.

With the county going red, this continually has an impact on those smaller retail and restaurant industries, which is why having pickup and carryout is important to their survival.
