POTTSVILLE — A Lancaster County man will spend more time in state prison after a Schuylkill County judge sentenced him for having a weapon while an inmate in July 2019. Jorge O. Garcia, 26, of Elizabethtown, must serve 2½ to five years in a state correctional institution, Judge James P. Goodman ruled. Goodman also sentenced Garcia to pay costs and $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account. After a one-day trial, a jury found Garcia guilty on Oct. 30 of inmate procuring weapon and prohibited possession of offensive weapon. State police at Frackville charged Garcia with possessing the weapon on July 8, 2019, at SCI/Mahanoy. Also recently in the county court,
