A Falmouth-based engineering company has expanded its workshop in Barcelona in order to better service the growing superyacht sector. Armada Engineering, who specialise in marine hydraulics, currently have five members of staff based in the Spanish city by the sea and are looking to continue the company s current expansion plans. The company designs and builds their own equipment at a purpose-built, 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Falmouth and also services other commercial markets including shipyards, commercial fishing, renewable energy, oil and gas, mining, construction and agriculture. The new workshop is located at MB92 Barcelona, one of the largest superyacht refit shipyards in the world, with a 220m dry dock and 4,800-tonne shiplift among its service facilities.

Apple Could Be Working On New Health Hardware Products By Tyler Lee, on 02/02/2021 16:58 PST
Right now, the Apple Watch is basically Apple’s only health-related hardware product. However, it seems that the company could be working on new health-based hardware, at least that’s what a recent job-listing on Apple’s website seems to be suggesting where they are looking for a new product manager.

According to the listing,
“The Health Hardware group is looking for an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to lead the design and development of Apple-branded Health Hardware products.” Unfortunately for us, the listing doesn’t really detail what we might be able to expect from the company, but then again, this shouldn’t really be surprising since we doubt that many companies would openly state what unannounced products that they could be working on.

Apple, step by step, has been forging into medical and health-focused products. Now, if a new job listing is to be believed, Apple is looking to enter the health hardware segment.
The company’s main focus, up until now, has been adding health-focused features to its current lineup of products. Apple is known to integrate health features, so seamlessly, into its products to the point where some people can’t even live without them. The company recently added a SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring feature to its Apple Watch Series 6 amid the pandemic.
