CYPRUS/Nicosia 27/05/2021 08:20 Cyprus police issued just 10 fines in the last 24 hours over Covid protective measures violations.
A police spokesperson told CNA that in the last 24 hours ending on 06:00 Thursday the force carried out 4,396 checks throughout the island.
In Nicosia the Police carried out 549 checks reporting 1 individual, in Limassol 1 individual was reported after 785 checks, in Larnaca 635 checks were carried out with 1 individual and 1 shop owner fined, in Pafos 4 individuals were reported following 850 checks and in Famagusta 1 individual was fined after 772 checks.
