THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) â While the election is over Thomasville police are asking the community to keep the peace following reports of stolen yard signs and road rage incidents. Unfortunately politics tends to be something people get very passionate about, especially when there s an election going on, said Thomasville Police Department Cpl. Crystal Parker.
Tensions are now rising following a senate race where there was a lot on the line.

The Community Foundation of Broward is inviting applications for its
Animal Welfare grant program to help animal shelters, rescue organizations, and/or wildlife centers strengthen their resources to continue to strategically reduce overpopulation; increase adoptions; rescue and rehabilitate; create healthy habitats; and eliminate animal suffering.
The goal of this grant program is to ensure Broward’s animals, both wild and domesticated, is treated with respect and lives safely without threat, abuse or neglect.
The foundation wants to create an environment where our domesticated and wild animals can live free from harm, abuse, and neglect. Sick, injured and homeless animals deserve proper treatment, protection, and care.
