Covid vaccination appointments should not be booked using a link shared on WhatsApp, Aintree Hospital has said. Several appointments were cancelled yesterday after people used the link sent over the messaging app to book vaccinations “inappropriately”. The link, which was often accompanied by text falsely claiming vaccinations at Aintree were now open to everyone, did open a booking website for the hospital. However, this was only meant to be available to members of hospital staff.
