Organizers say there is an increased interest this year for O S O Bay Guardians Summer Camp

and last updated 2021-06-10 06:41:10-04 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â The Oso Bay Guardians Nature Summer Camp is preparing to welcome children into the Learning Center. Students will start attending the camp Monday, June 14. While there, organizers say they will learn how to appreciate nature by heading outdoors. O.S.O. Guardians Nature Summer Camp runs for 6 weeks. Its available for kids ages 5 to 10 starting Monday June 14 until August 6. Campers will have the chance to experience fun mornings of exploring nature trails, meeting and catching live animals, using equipment like binoculars and microscopes, doing crafts, indoors activities and more. After having to run at limited capacity in 2020, organizers say they re seeing increased interest this year.

But in the Far North, the flowers won t be out anytime soon and there are no green trees in sight. The Canadian Arctic experiences spring somewhat differently than the south, but there are still clear signs that spring is awakening there, too. During spring months in northern Canada, communities like Arviat, Nunavut still experience temperatures below freezing on a regular basis and have an all-around different approach to measuring the onset of spring. Arviat community member Ruth Kaviok says that while there are no budding trees in her backyard, she s been seeing signs of spring for a few weeks.

Dartmouth Unveils Luxury Waterfront Playground Few places on the SouthCoast are as picturesque as Apponagansett in Dartmouth, but the area is set to become even more beautiful and fun, especially for young families. The Recreation Coordinator at Dartmouth Parks and Recreation, Becky Amaral, told Fun 107 that the town is nearing completion on what will be a gorgeous new outdoor playground for families to enjoy. There will be toys and equipment designed for children as young as two, and ranging up 12 years old. Everything in this incredible playground is brand new, which makes it desirable enough, but building this gorgeous new playground with a waterfront view makes it next level.
