According to police, the incident began on Route 22, when the unidentified gunman shot at a women s car then followed her into the Wawa s parking lot.
The shooter then shot and wounded a man in a car and fatally shot a truck driver who was pumping gas.
Ramon Ramirez was just starting his day, filling up his A. Duie Pyle truck with gas at the Wawa in Upper Macungie Township. His next stop would have likely been to one of the company’s truck terminals to pick up a trailer.

Ramirez, a truck driver for logistics provider A. Duie Pyle for the last 18 months, was fatally shot by 45-year-old Za Uk Lian, of South Whitehall Township, just before 5 a.m. Wednesday in the Wawa lot on Schantz Road.
“He had no direct involvement in the incident other than he was the victim of a senseless shooting,” said Peter Dannecker, vice president of risk and integrated resources at A. Duie Pyle.
