FASTag made Mandatory from Today Midnight:- The Indian government made it mandatory for all the four-wheelers in the country for FASTag. The rule will be implemented from the midnight of today. All the fee plazas on the national highways of India are declared as FASTag lanes as per the statement from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Any four-wheeler with out FASTag is not valid and will be charged double the toll starting from today midnight as per the NH Fee Rules 2008. FASTag was introduced in 2016 but some of them have been objected as it took time for the vehicles to take FASTag. Though January 1st was the deadline, it was pushed to today.
